As a young hockey fan who was exposed to the sport in the mid-2000s, I wanted to learn more about the players I was watching on my TV, especially those on the team I (unfortunately) fell in love with: my hometown Toronto Maple Leafs. It was during this time where I started to beg my parents to buy packs of hockey cards and start building my own collection over the next few years.

After stepping away from collecting for several years, without ever having the strength to fully abandon my overstuffed binders, I rediscovered my passion for the hobby, and started selling cards on eBay, giving me a chance to learn more about the landscape.  After dozens of successful deals, I decided to start an Instagram page to connect with other members of the community with a clean logo and a snappy name, paving the way for Puckdrop Cards to become a trusted name for buying, selling, trading and breaking.

Wanting to help grow the community even more, this website was created as a place that encourages you to find your passion, grow your collection, and most importantly, be informed. With a blog that is regularly updated with news about the latest products, along with general collecting tips, you will confidently be able to make the most out of your experience with the hobby and hopefully avoiding some of the rookie mistakes that I made, like keeping my most valuable cards in binder soft sleeves.
